PCIe (PCI Express) cards are for desktop computers with PCIe slots. Mac Pro and later Power Mac G5 computers, and some PCs have PCIe slots. PCIe cards can have multiple data lanes for more bandwidth to the host computer. For example, a four-lane card will be designated as PCIe x4. |
