SpeedometerAdd Fast 6Gb/s eSATA AND SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Ports to Your Computer

Do you need to hook up external USB 3.0 or eSATA drives to your notebook or laptop computer equipped with an ExpressCard slot? If you are looking for superior performance and flexible choice of connections, add the Tempo™ Duo ExpressCard/34 adapter to your setup. This Sonnet card supports significantly faster file transfers than your computer’s USB 2.0 and FireWire® interfaces. The Tempo Duo ExpressCard/34 is a cost-effective and simple solution for adding two 6Gb/s eSATA and two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports to your computer so you can get the best performance from the latest external storage systems.

eSATA for Extra Speed

The Tempo Duo ExpressCard/34 adapter’s fast 6Gb/s eSATA ports are well suited to handle the increased bandwidth requirements of 6Gb/s SSDs. Plugged into your computer’s ExpressCard slot, this card’s two eSATA ports are capable of transferring files at up to 200 MB/s. This card also supports older multi-drive enclosures with port multipliers, enabling you to access up to five drives per eSATA cable.

SpeedometerUSB 3.0 for Fast Performance and Common Connectivity

Most drives offered today include USB 3.0 interfaces. Though they can connect to USB 2.0 ports on your computer, their performance would be reduced by as much as 85 percent! The Tempo Duo ExpressCard/34 adapter’s two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports offer native USB 3.0 support. Plugged into your computer’s ExpressCard slot, this card’s USB 3.0 ports are capable of transferring files at up to 200 MB/s. This card also supports one bus-powered drive with power from a USB 2.0 port.
