Tempo PCIe 3.0 SSD is a low-profile PCIe card with an attached Gen 3 M.2 PCIe SSD providing 512GB of storage. Its small form factor allows this card to be installed into any x4 mechanical or larger PCIe slot; full-height and low-profile card brackets are included. Capable of transferring files at a blistering 2220 MB/sec, this Sonnet SSD solution boasts performance to the leading edge with next generation technology!

This Sonnet SSD solution is able to attain this performance and break speed records set by 6Gb/s SATA SSDs by incorporating a direct PCIe flash controller. This enables the card to achieve over double the performance from a single “drive” than using two 2.5-inch SATA-based SSDs formatted together as a RAID 0 volume. Even when used in a PCIe Gen 2-based computer like a Mac Pro Tower, the Tempo PCIe 3.0 SSD can deliver performance up to 1500 MB/s.
