Expand Your Pro Tools|HDX PCIe Card's Compatibility

Avid® Pro Tools|HDX has been anchored to desktop computers like the Mac Pro—until now. Sonnet has updated the Echo Express Pro Thunderbolt Expansion Chassis for PCIe Cards to support cards that require extra auxiliary power (up to 75W), like the HDX card.

This specially adapted power cable kit provides one or two Pro Tools|HDX cards sufficient auxiliary power. Now you can create a Pro Tools|HDX2 rig using any iMac®, Mac® mini, MacBook® Air, or MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt™ port! This custom cable connects the Echo chassis' PCIe power connector to one or two HDX cards' power connectors.
